The Hult Center’s four Resident Companies feature accomplished area artists and distinguished guest artists from many parts of the world. They present a rich variety of educational programs and offer the best in performing arts.
Eugene Ballet
Eugene Ballet provides quality professional dance performances and innovative educational services to a broad-based audience in Oregon and throughout the western United States. Eugene Ballet has set a high standard in the performing arts, differentiating itself among dance companies in the west and nationwide with its ability to present outstanding work and educational services in both rural and urban communities.
Ballet Fantastique
Ballet Fantastique (BFan) is a powerhouse for inventive dance theater in the Northwest. Established in 2000, BFan re-imagines the future of dance—building inclusive new audiences through contemporary ballet premieres (Company), training a diverse next generation of artists (Academy), and inspiring youth through education programs that reach across traditional access barriers to reach underserved communities (Outreach).
Eugene Concert Choir
The Eugene Concert Choir, Dr. Diane Retallack, Artistic & Executive Director, is an umbrella organization which includes: The Eugene Concert Choir, a 100-voice masterworks chorus, Eugene Vocal Arts, a 38-voice chamber choir, and the Eugene Concert Orchestra. The newest ensemble within the organization is Evocantus, a young adult a cappella chamber choir, directed by Chris Dobson. The mission of the Eugene Concert Choir is to engage, inspire, and enrich the community through performance of choral masterworks, diverse artistic experiences, and educational outreach.
Eugene Symphony
Now in its 60th season, Eugene Symphony is recognized as a cornerstone of the performing arts in Oregon’s southern Willamette Valley. Under the leadership of Music Director Alex Prior, Executive Director Dave Moss, and a dedicated board of directors, the Eugene Symphony pursues its mission of enriching lives through the power of music by presenting annual classical, pops, and community engagement performances.
