Back to the Future: The Musical is coming to the Hult Center in just a few days and we couldn’t be more excited about this live musical adaptation of the ’80s classic. And for a lot of us here at the Hult what separates Back to the Future from other films of the era is its unbelievably awesome soundtrack that includes “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News. “The Power of Love” was so big, in fact, that not only did I wear out my Back to the Future soundtrack on tape but it was also nominated a Grammy and Academy award.
We had the opportunity to chat with Chris Hayes (Guitarist of Huey Lewis and the News) to talk about the first number one song that he wrote, “The Power of Love” from the hit film Back to the Future.
