Community & Creative Learning

About Us

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts’ Community & Creative Learning program is committed to removing barriers and increasing community access to a diverse selection of world-class presentations, performances and creative learning experiences. Our initiatives strive to ignite a greater appreciation for art, culture and creativity within our community and beyond. The Hult Center believes that it is a right, not a privilege, that every community member has the opportunity to experience art and to develop their own creative capital regardless of skill level and/or socioeconomic status. Our programs are intended to enrich, inspire and engage, and highlight the tremendous impact the arts have on our daily lives.

Impact by Numbers

  • In the last two years alone (2023-2025), 10,000+ student, teachers, and community members have benefitted from the Community and Creative Learning programs.
  • Since it’s start in the 23-24 season, our Bridge to Broadway program has welcomed 1,400+ youth to experience a live Broadway show at the Hult Center.
  • In the 24-25 season, 5,000+ students have had the chance to see a free student matinee.
  • In partnership with the Eugene, Springfield and Cottage Grove Public Library, the Hult Cultural pass program allows library cardholders to check out free tickets to select shows.
  • The Arts for All program offering $5 tickets to EBT card holders for every Broadway show, plus select Hult Presents continues to grow and make the arts more accessible to our community.
