2026 Collegiate Track & Field/Cross Country Athlete Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The fifth annual induction of the Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame for track & field and cross country is coming to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 PM. Twelve of the greatest athletes in collegiate track & field/cross country history will be celebrated with a look back at their collegiate careers via video tributes, inductee appearances and interviews. This year’s class features a group that compiled 44 national collegiate titles, 37 collegiate records, five Olympic/World Championships medals, and seven world records while in college. The class of 2026 includes: Earl Bell (Arkansas State, 1974-1977), John Carlos (San Jose State, 1967-1969), Gail Devers (UCLA, 1985-1988), Paul Ereng (Virginia, 1988-1989), John Godina (UCLA, 1992-1995), Carol Lewis (Houston, 1982-1985), Earl McCullouch (Southern California, 1965-1968), Dave Patrick (Villanova, 1965-1968), Candice Scott (Florida, 2001-2005), Dawn Sowell (LSU, 1985-1989), Delisa Walton (Tennessee, 1980-1983), and Leann Warren (Oregon, 1980-1985). The event will begin with a Red Carpet Hall of Fame Inductee Walk at 5:30 PM outside the Hult Center at the 7th Street entrance, with the induction ceremony taking place at 6:00 PM in the Soreng Theater, free of charge.
