Blood Drive at the Hult Center
The Hult’s season of Frights & Delights starts October 9th with the Blood Drive in partnership with Bloodworks Northwest! The drive will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please make an appointment to donate blood here!
Bloodworks Northwest is an independent, non-profit organization harnessing donor gifts to provide a safe, lifesaving blood supply to 95% of hospitals in the pacific northwest, including all hospitals in Lane County. Patients depend on us. Our physicians are specialists in transfusion medicine, and provide care for patients with bleeding disorders and other conditions. Our labs offer diverse testing services to support organ and tissue transplantation as well as patient care. Our research institute makes scientific breakthroughs to help people live longer and healthier lives – locally, and around the world. Backed by more than 70 years of history (and previously known as Puget Sound Blood Center) we are a cornerstone of healthcare in the Northwest.
Our Mission
Saving lives through research, innovation, education and excellence in blood, medical and laboratory services in partnership with our community.
The donation process typically takes around an hour from registration to enjoying a cookie! After registering, you’ll go through a quick health screening, followed by the donation itself, which usually only takes about 10 minutes. Once you’re finished, you can relax in the canteen with a cookie and some snacks. While you’re there, you also have the option to schedule your next donation if you’d like. That’s all there is to it—your generosity can make a real difference and help save lives!
