Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a ticket limit?
For most events, we enforce an 8 ticket limit on full price tickets. Many events will offer group discounts, which will be specified on their individual event pages.
How can I avoid scammers when looking to buy event tickets?
To protect yourself, always start at HultCenter.org to purchase tickets for performances at the Hult Center and other venues where our Resident Companies perform. If you purchase tickets from a secondary ticketing company or ticket broker, we cannot guarantee that the tickets are legitimate. If there is a problem with tickets purchased from a secondary ticketing company, we will not be able assist you.
I received an email that the show I bought tickets to is being postponed to a later date. Now what?
Please hold onto your tickets to attend the newly rescheduled date. If you cannot make the rescheduled date please contact the box office at 541-682-5000 to request a refund. Refund requests must be received no later than 60 days prior to the rescheduled date.
What do I do if I lose my tickets?
Do I have to buy a ticket for my small child?
Yes. A ticket is required for everyone entering the theater, including infants.
How can our babysitter or other caregivers reach us in case of an emergency?
Our emergency contact number is 541-682-5087. Leave your seat locations with your babysitter or paging service and our staff will be able to find you to relay any information.
When should I arrive for my event?
Typically, the lobby opens 1 hour before performances and each hall opens 30 minutes prior performances. We encourage patrons to arrive a little early, especially if they have tickets at will call. If you arrive late, you may be held out or re-seated in the back until an appropriate time or after intermission to get to your assigned seat.
Does the Hult Center offer coat check?
Yes, for your convenience, complimentary coat check is available prior to every performance. Coat check (Patron Services) is located directly across from the elevator on the lobby level.
Are food and beverages allowed inside the theater?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the theater. However, you can purchase both from the Hult Center Café in the lobby or on the concourse level. And if your show has an intermission, you can pre-order your drinks at the Café and they will be ready for you at intermission – no need to wait in line! Visit our concessions page for more information.
Does your venue have a dress code?
Like most places in Eugene, there is no set dress code for attending an event at the Hult Center. We invite you to dress to your comfort level and come as you are. We do, however, ask patrons to refrain from wearing strong perfumes and colognes, as many people are highly sensitive or allergic.
