Health & Safety

We share your concerns about the spread of coronavirus and the recent confirmed cases in the State of Oregon.

Your health and safety as an audience member is of paramount importance to us, and we want to let you know some of the ways that our team is working to ensure that the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and our venues are contributing to best practices at this time.

General Sanitizing

We have ample stock and use the following sanitization products in our building:

  • 730 – WAXIE Sanitary Supply
  • SANICARE Mintquat – Buckeye International
  • 330 – WAXIE Sanitary Supply

In addition to our standard cleaning procedures, the following sanitizing measures will be taken multiple times throughout the day.

Inside Theaters:

  • Touch-points: Handrails, elevator buttons, drinking fountain push bars, etc.
  • Door hardware: Knobs, handles, push plates and exit bars
  • Flat surfaces: Counters, tables, etc.
  • Restroom touch-points: Stall doors, sinks/faucets, toilets & urinals/flush levers, towel & soap dispensers, etc.

Following each event:

  • Coat check hangers
  • Theater seats and ancillary seats including all armrests
  • Child booster seats
  • Handrails
  • Dressing Rooms

Office & Staff Areas:

  • Touch-points: Handrails, elevator buttons, light switches, etc.
  • Door hardware: Knobs, handles, push plates and exit bars
  • Flat surfaces: Counters, tables, etc.
  • Restroom touch-points: Stall doors, sinks/faucets, toilets & urinals/flush levers, towel & soap dispensers, etc.
  • Kitchenette & break room touch-points: Sinks/faucets, cabinet/drawer pulls, refrigerator handles, etc.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed at all venue entrances and other areas throughout the building and are well stocked on all supplies.

Tissues are also available at all ticket taker stations and for public use.

Staff Efforts

We’re actively communicating with all staff and posting information on personal best practices as advised by the CDC. We are sanitizing our team areas, such as supply rooms, janitors’ closets and break rooms. We are also sanitizing our equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, carts, broom & mop handles, etc. on a daily basis.

THE HULT CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS RECOMMENDS FOLLOWING THE PREVENTATIVE GUIDANCE PROVIDED BY THE CDC:

CDC Prevention Information

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
