Beethoven: Symphony No. 7

This kinetic concert is all about movement, from casual walks to fiddle dancing to gospel choruses to galloping joy. Opening with George Gershwin’s Promenade, we’ll take a metaphorical stroll before jumping into Wynton Marsalis’s celebration of American music in his boisterous and beautiful Violin Concerto. Ludwig van Beethoven’s jubilant and lively Symphony No. 7 is propelled by ebullient rhythms that will have you dancing in your seat.
