Collegiate Track & Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame
The second annual induction of the Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame for track & field and cross country is coming to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
Fourteen of the best athletes in history will be celebrated with a look back at their collegiate careers via video tributes, roundtable panel discussions, and special guest appearances. This year’s class features a group that compiled 70 national collegiate titles, 39 world records, and eight Olympic/World Championships medals achieved while in college.
The 2023 induction class includes: Dyrol Burleson (Oregon, 1959-1962), Michael Carter (SMU, 1980-1984), Joetta Clark (Tennessee, 1981-1984), Michael Conley (Arkansas, 1982-1985), Sheila Hudson (California, 1986-1990), Holli Hyche (Indiana State, 1991-1994), Edwin Moses (Morehouse, 1974-1977), Renaldo Nehemiah (Maryland, 1978-1979), Sonia O’Sullivan (Villanova, 1988-1991), Julie Shea (NC State, 1978-1981), Seilala Sua (UCLA, 1997-2000), John Thomas (Boston University, 1959-1962), Wyomia Tyus (Tennessee State, 1964-1967), and Dave Wottle (Bowling Green, 1969-1973).
